Coneflower, Purple (W/P)
Large, 3-4" flowers of a dusky rose-purple are borne on long 2-3' stems. They have deep bronze central cones and petals that, characteristically, droop a little backwards. Plants are drought-resistant, preferring dry soil, but tolerating moist. They are extremely long-flowering, from late spring to fall.
